Events

A12GTPG regularly hosts parent education events (Parent Education Series, GT Parent Forum) where information is presented to our parent community by guest panels or invited expert speakers in the field of gifted and talented education.  These parent events are both a chance to share resources but also build community among our district GT families

Special events like "Super Saturday," "Middle School Madness," "Behind the Scenes," and others, are held throughout the year, where students are offered unique experiences and opportunities to connect with peers and mentors.  Events are announced on our website and in our newsletter.  In order to stay informed about upcoming events, please register or login in order to be added to our newsletter distribution list.  

Parent Events

Two to three times a year, we hold presentations for parents and caregivers on topics of interest to the GT community.  In the past, we invited expert speakers as part of Parent Education Series, but we have recently added our GT Parent Forums, a new format that allows for more dialogue and conversation among participants on the featured topic. Student & Family Events

 We traditionally offer multiple student and family events each year to provide enrichment and/or give students an opportunity to connect with other GT students.  Past events include Super Saturday, Cultural Symposium, museum field trips, Middle School Madness, Middle School Escape Room, and more.  Most of our events require numerous volunteers to run smoothly, including parents and high school students.  If you would like to help make these events possible, please consider volunteering at an event or on one of our event planning committees.  Email us (info@a12gifted.org) for more information or look for sign up links for leadership/planning meetings and volunteer opportunities at events.
